The Cardiovascular Catheterisation Laboratory provides a vital and essential cardiovascular service to all people of Saudi Arabia; both adult and paediatric patients who present with acquired and congenital heart diseases.

The goal of the diagnostic and interventional procedure is to obtain sufficient and valid (haemodynamic and radiological) data, and to perform the indicated interventional procedures while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort with optimal outcomes.

There are two labs equipped with Phillips bi-plane and The unit is run by two Adult Cardiac Interventionists and two Paediatric Cardiac Interventionists. There are two labs equipped with Phillips bi-plane and monoplane Radiographic equipment.   Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) staff are mixture of well-trained nurses and technicians. For every single procedure, five staff are present; two circulating nurses, one scrub nurse, a cardiovascular technician, and a radiographer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing, and
• Current nursing license in Canada or the United States, and
• A minimum of two years current experience as a Registered Nurse, of which at least one must be in the specialty area, working in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America.
