The Royal Commission Hospital is a 216-bed secondary hospital located in Jubail, on the east coast of Saudi Arabia and along the coast of the beautiful Arabian Gulf. The hospital holds JCI accreditation.
In the 1970's The Royal Commission was established to help diversify Saudi Arabia's economy. As part of its mission, The Royal Commission developed large petrochemical- and energy- intensive "industrial cities", including in Jubail. Jubail Industrial City is considered to be one of the largest and most modern industrial complexes in Asia.
Jubail's Industrial Zone is home to factories, desalination plants, oil refineries, etc. whereas the Residential Area is located on an adjacent island linked to the mainland.
